50/50 FACES

50/50 FACES by Scenes is a study of how trustworthy we can make human faces as of June 2024. The project features 50 men and women, all age 50, from around the world. All images are AI-generated using three different AI tools. Each image has undergone several manual iterations but no post-production.

We’re learning.

Going from stills to motion is a whole new craft - and mastering AI video isn’t easy. But the payoff is real: scenes that would be nearly impossible to pull off in real life… just try convincing 15 ordinary people to pose for a photo!
