Scenes in Motion
Moving pictures - the next AI frontier
Now that we’ve mastered Scenes with AI, it’s time to put things into motion - literally.
We’re entering a new chapter. Still images are no longer the end goal -they’re just the starting point. In the near future, digital platforms won’t be filled with static visuals, but with short, purposeful movements. Motion that draws focus, highlights detail, or reveals something a still image never could… like the movement of a horse’s feet.
The Horse in Motion. In 1878, Eadweard Muybridge took a series of photographs of a galloping horse and projected them, creating the first-ever motion picture.
From Still Image to AI Motion
The clip above was generated from a single still frame. It shows us two things: AI motion has come a long way - and there’s still a way to go before it’s perfect.
Over the coming months, we’ll explore the art of motion in depth - and after the summer break, we’ll return with Scenes in Motion.
Stay tuned,
